WORKSHOP MASTERCLASS: Plein- Air Landscape with Robert Dujin (1 day)
Event description
Join Robert Dujin for a day of landscape painting, plein-air /outside. Rob will do step-by-step demonstrations and offer individual help to students.
Learn to:
- Plan and compose a picture through observation
- Draw with paint, establishing the relative shapes and scale
- Paint the tonal relationships to describe shapes and form
- Mix and apply the relative temperatures of colour
- Design and anticipate shadow shapes and light
All levels of experience welcome. An equipment list will be sent to students prior to the workshop.
Robert Dujin is a Sydney-based artist who has taught drawing and painting for 20 years at many institutions, including Julian Ashton Art School, Royal Art Society and Production Art Department. He is an award-winning artist and has been a finalist in many prestigious art prizes, including the Mosman Art Prize and the Alice Bale Scholarship. He has had many solo exhibitions and his work has featured in numerous group shows.
Lunch, coffee and other refreshments will be available for purchase from the Flaxton Gardens café and restaurant.
Workshop ticket includes entry to the competition exhibition.
