About the facilitator:

Nicole is an Australian artist who resides in Brisbane, Queensland. Her practice embodies the phrase ‘to draw’; from the manipulation of physical thread and line through to traditional methods of drawing, inscription and mark making. Nicole’s body of work is a raw and honest exploration on the human condition and its reflection in the natural world.

Alongside her arts practice, Nicole is the Scientific Illustrator for The Queensland Herbarium at Mt. Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. This role entails drawing to scale new and threatened Queensland plants for publications.

Nicole is also the founder of The Artist’s Studio, a new space in Camp Hill where one on one art mentorship and support is being offered for people of all abilities.
