Create your own quirky finger puppet using wet felt-making techniques in this hands-on workshop led by artist and educator Lynn Petersen. Guided by a poetic prompt, you will explore colour, texture and form to shape a character that tells its own unique story.

Use flat resist felting to craft wonderfully unexpected shapes. A variety of fibres, fabrics and found objects will be available to help bring your puppet to life.

Perfect as a parent-child activity or for anyone curious about felt making, this workshop invites you to stretch your creativity and discover the stories your puppet has to tell.

  • Create your own quirky finger puppet to take home at the end of the session
