Workshop: Simple comic making for kids – by a kid!

Join emerging comic creator Max Baird for Simple Comic Making for Kids – by a Kid! This workshop will help participants to develop a character and then create a short 6 page comic based on that character. The workshop will focus on a comic with a sizzling start, a problem to solve, and a resolution or a twist to treat the reader.

This workshop is suitable for ages from 7 to 13 years old.

This free workshop will be held in the Northern Gallery at Adelaide Town Hall, 128 King William St, Adelaide, alongside the Papercuts Comics Festival Market Day happening from 11am to 5:00pm at the Auditorium in the same building.

This is the second of four one-hour workshops to be held during the course of the Market Day.

This workshop is strictly limited to 16 participants and bookings are essential. All workshop materials will be provided. Please arrive at the venue at 12:30pm for a start time of 12:45pm.
