Workshop: Slowly and Surely – Carving Clay with Amanda Andlee Poland

Join ACT Historic Places Art Prize finalist Amanda Andlee Poland as she shares her expertise in carving clay. Using collected plant material for inspiration, embellish the surface of a selected form through carving away clay to reveal the detail and pattern of the plant. The artist will supply premade leather hard clay forms to work on based on historic objects at Lanyon Homestead.

Collect the fired works a few weeks later from the artist’s studio. All materials included.
