Workshop | Treasured Photos

Knowing how to keep your precious photographs and negatives in proper storage conditions can ensure that they can be viewed and enjoyed for generations to come. 

Join us at Rokowhiria for a hands-on workshop with archivist Connor Lysaght, where you will learn how to identify different kinds of historic photos, how to store them, and how to make high-quality digital copies. 

The workshop will begin with a show-and-tell, followed by a presentation and some hands-on elements. 

Attendees should bring a treasured photograph or negative with them. Size does not matter, but a smaller item would be preferred for the hands-on segment of the workshop. 

Attendance costs $20 to cover materials that will be given out at the end of the workshop.
