    Event description

This 6-hour workshop will have you making and decorating your very own head planter. You’ll start by learning to join the pre-prepared neck and head, crafted in Monte Lupo’s Brisbane studio. The neck is wheel-thrown, and the head is pressed from a mould by our skilled team, ready for your unique touch. Add personality to your planter with hair and other creative embellishments!

In the afternoon, unleash your inner artist by decorating your head planter with underglaze colours. You’ll be guided through several decorating techniques making your piece truly one-of-a-kind. Once completed, your planter will be carefully transported back to Brisbane for firing where it will be handled with care and in about two weeks, you’ll be notified to pick it up from Monte Lupo. Should any kiln mishaps occur, rest assured it will be repaired or Monte Lupo will give you another opportunity to create a new piece at no extra cost.

    No experience necessary.
