World Aids Day 'No One Left Behind'

This year’s World AIDS Day theme highlights the urgent need to address ongoing inequalities in HIV prevention, testing, treatment and quality of life. It reminds us that too many people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those living in regional and remote areas continue to face barriers to care.

On World AIDS Day, we join a global commitment to ensure no one is left behind and to create a future where all people living with HIV can access the care, respect and support they deserve.

Please join us at Hyde Park for a few hours on a Sunday evening to honour those we have lost, reflect on the progress made and recommit to ensuring that no one is left behind in the response to HIV, here in WA an and across the world.

Enjoy vibrant performances from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) entertainers, delicious food from local vendors, and reflections that honour the past while celebrating inclusion and progress in the HIV response. WAAC will cover the cost of food and entertainment so please come down with a picnic blanket, a few chairs, and have an easy and enjoyable night under the trees with friends, family, and community.
