World Cafe Experience with the DC Makers' Guild
Event description
Join the DC Makers’ Guild for a special community experience on Sunday, July 20th from 11am-3pm at the Heurich House Museum. Our board chair, Topaz Terry of Bicycle Trash, will lead us through the discussion — this isn’t your average networking event — it’s a dynamic, welcoming space where conversations matter.
2025 concludes the Guild’s initial three year strategic plan - which was focused on setting up the foundational structures of the organization. As we look towards 2026 and the addition of new board members, we want to envision the next three years. Make your voice heard in the creation of the plan.
Using the World Café Method—a structured conversational process that encourages open dialogue, diverse perspectives, and collective wisdom—we'll explore what it means to be a maker in DC, share stories, and build stronger community connections.
Get to know your fellow Guild members.
Share your perspective with the Guild leadership.
Connect the growth of your business with the growth of the Guild.
Why come? Because the Guild is by Makers, for Makers.
Share your ideas, experiences, and vision for the future of our maker community

Engage in meaningful conversation
