World Children’s Day Community Celebration

On Friday 20 November, 4:00–7:00pm, join us for a joyful, family-centred Citizen COP Australia event hosted by Parents for Climate in celebration of World Children’s Day.

World Children’s Day is a global UNICEF initiative recognising the rights, wellbeing, and future of children everywhere.

As part of the Citizen COP Australia series, this event brings families, children, and community members together to explore climate and nature conversations in an accessible, hopeful, and action-oriented way.

This event is hosted by Parents for Climate at Northey Street City Farm.

What to expect:

• Music and a relaxed dancefloor

• Face painting for kids (and the young at heart)

• Family climate trivia

• Community connection and shared learning

This gathering is designed as a welcoming, intergenerational space where families can celebrate children while engaging with the climate and nature conversations shaping their future.
