Event description

The ACT branch of AEVA is celebrating World EV Day on Sunday 8 September 2024 at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Fyshwick campus.

Please come along between 10 am and 11.30 am to see a range of EVs on display, ask questions of EV owners and tour the CIT EV training facilities.

The event will conclude with addresses by invited speakers before an optional mass departure from 11.30 along a planned route to showcase all of our EVs.

The ACT Branch of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association represents owners of electric vehicles in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

The Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) LTD is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the cause of switching Australia's transport networks to electric drive as quickly as possible. We all share a common interest in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and EV technology. Formed after the oil price shocks of 1973, the AEVA is the longest continuously running EV society in the world.
