We are delighted to extend our warmest invitation to you for the 10th World Melioidosis Congress, set against the tropical backdrop of Darwin, NT, Australia. This multicultural city is on the proud lands of the Larrakia Aboriginal people. In Australia, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people serve as longstanding caretakers of the lands and seas, embodying one of the world's oldest continuous cultures and with an enduring connection to country.

Under the theme "Unity in Diversity: Global Partnerships in Melioidosis," our congress aims to bring together people from across the world to strengthen existing relationships and foster new connections. We have a dynamic program that covers the diverse aspects of melioidosis including global and regional epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment, immunology and pathogenesis, environmental determinants, bacterial genomics, public health, and vaccine development.

Your attendance will contribute to the shared vision of the International Melioidosis Network in raising awareness of melioidosis globally and searching for solutions to reduce the burden of disease in endemic areas.

Join us in Darwin for an unforgettable blend of knowledge, camaraderie, and cultural immersion. We look forward to hosting you and collectively shaping the future of melioidosis research and collaborations.
