    Event description

    Enjoy an evening by the sea at Narooma Surf Club, hearing the roar of the surf as you dip into a screening of short films about our magnificent big blue in celebration of World Ocean's Day, 

    Brought to you by our local Nature Coast Marine Group (NCMG) & Surfrider Foundation, this event will showcase short films and the new Surfrider documentary Southern Blast, it will also feature the talk (with Q&A) Rebreathers at Midnight from Sydney-based underwater film-makers Harriet & Woody Spark about their experience working on National Geographic Secrets of the Octopus (a 3-part documentary which launched on DisneyPlus in May 2024).

    There will be food and drinks available to purchase*

    Local Ocean Art Exhibition of paintings, photography and sculpture.

    And of course a raffle with local prizes*

    *100% of ticket sales and money made on night will be donated to NCMG to work on their campaigns for protecting the Eastern Blue Groper and lobbying to reinstate our Marine Protected Sanctuary Zones in Batemans Marine Park.
