Film Synopsis:

Flight From Extinction tells the inspiring story of Merlin Tuttle, a lifelong bat conservationist whose groundbreaking work sparked a nationwide shift – uniting landowners, cavers, and government agencies in unprecedented conservation success.

At a time when fear and misinformation led people to destroy entire bat colonies, Tuttle spent decades using science, education, and empathy to change hearts and minds – turning former adversaries into devoted allies.

More than a story about bats, this 18-minute film explores the universal power of trust, understanding, and the belief that lasting change is possible when we choose to collaborate rather than confront.
