Ayesha and I have hosted events for World Soil Day for the past few years by inviting folk to bake a cake with a soil story to tell and share. So if you feel you can do this then please do, there is no obligation to do this though - admission is free and does not require a cake! Please register though.

This year is a bigger event. We start earlier for those interested in viewing two soil profiles. We will have a delegation of retired soil scientists from NSW so there will be plenty of expert opinions, advice and probably disagreements.

The event is to celebrate the importance of soil in our lives. Celebrate this every day but especially on the 5th December. This year's theme set by the UN is 'Healthy Soils for Healthy Cities' https://www.un.org/en/observances/world-soil-day

The event is an activity of Soil Science Australia, supported by the Upper Spring Creek Landcare Group, and sponsored by Agriculture Victoria, Nutrient Advantage and the North Central Catchment Management Authority.

There is limited parking inside the property so please park on Wingrave Road and walk in.
