Event description

Join us at this free, in-person workshop to help shape the Worms at Work pilot - the winning idea of the 2024 Fishermans Bend Digital Innovation Challenge.

Come along to our first gathering and share your ideas, questions and feedback on how a new approach to public composting and worm-farming could turn local food waste into nutrient-rich soil.

This interactive session will be facilitated by the challenge winners, Zoe Wang (Upsoil Collective) and Michael Mobbs (That Off Grid Guy), with support from City of Melbourne.

What to expect in this session:

  • Find out how you can get involved and learn more about this year-long community project.
  • Plenty of time (45 minutes) allocated for group discussions, and raising ideas and questions.
  • Meet a community of like-minded, passionate people who want to make a difference to the Earth!
  • Understand the financial, social, and environmental benefits of participating, for both residents and businesses.

This event will be catered.
