Join us for another spectacular performance featuring multicultural costumes, Traditional and original dance, puppetry, music and circus.Â
Â
Raranga - The Weave is the latest Worn Art Revamped production created by Broome local, Lesley Marsh, and directed by returning Perth artist, Claudia Alessi.Â
Taking its inspiration from the Maori art form of weaving, the show features a stunning collection of woven wearable art works from Broome, the Southwest and Interstate, and includes works by notable Wearable Art award winners.Â
Raranga - The Weave will immerse audiences in a story about how connections over time, link and weave different cultures and communities together. Individuals contribute to, and in turn, by being part of community, are supported and strengthened to be healthier and happier.Â
The show also draws on the same elements and themes that inspire traditional weaving - animals, the ocean, colours, the earth, and its people and cultures.
