Woven - Intentional communities conference

Welcome everyone involved in INTENTIONAL COMMUNITIES- and those interested/looking to join! Get the team ready to Conference this year with our host community Moora Moora in beautiful Wurundjeri Country, Mt Toolebewong VIC mooramoora.org.au 

Since the last conference in 2013, our intentional community way of life has weathered rising costs of living, a global pandemic, climate-related emergencies and natural disasters, national housing-crisis and the ever-increasing need for stability and security in a fast-paced capitalist society. We believe now is the time once again to weave the vast networks of Australia's intentional residential communities together to network, conference, and care for each other's wellbeing going forward into a brighter more connected tomorrow.

CONFERENCE
Enjoy open discussions on important subjects like housing, membership, not-for-profits and alternative structures throughout the weekend. Bring your hard-basket questions, rainbow thinking caps and your own ethical conundrums for a diverse range of experienced communities to workshop.

WORKSHOPS
Free inclusive workshops, expert seminars and versatile skill-sharing awaits you and your community this April! Choose your own adventure and wake up with early morning yoga or a guided walking meditation. Learn about different conflict-management styles, refine off grid living practices or connect with the earth and others through a social weed-dating session in the garden. ART AND MUSIC
Get dancing at main stage with upbeat entertainment in the evening and live music from local and community-based artists! DJ’s will be keeping the night young for us while we get our social butterflies on and celebrate the intentional community journey!

A chance to express and showcase our collective narratives, individual stories, and quirky party tricks... We aim to balance a very serious conference with playful performances- inviting all participants to our main stage. Bring your musos, poets, actors and actresses and show us what you got! Got an act? Get in touch early so we can get you on the stage list!

FOOD
Thursday evening welcome meal included in ticket price. Food trucks catering for meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Relax and connect in our beautiful chai space. A Communal Cooking area is provided for self-catering and social campfire cook ups.

CAMPING
Free parking and camping provided in allocated areas on the property. Waterhole swimming, Drinking water from our Spring, Composting toilets and Communal Cooking areas provided- due to fire risk we ask that there is no cooking in camps.
----Leave no trace---- Please bring minimal waste and take all of your rubbish home with you. It is our top priority to keep our beloved mountain beautiful and pristine.
