Event description

Woven into Presence is brought to you by Deepika Mistry and Ness Shannon from Active Art, an afternoon gathering to be held at the delightful Little Paddock in Mogo.

We will explore the timeless beauty of ancient cultural stories and how they continue to shape our lives in subtle yet profound ways. These stories, passed down through generations, are not just tales of the past, but living narratives that carry deep wisdom, universal truths, and powerful lessons. Whether it’s in the way we communicate, the values we uphold, or the art we create, these stories are woven into the fabric of our everyday experiences.

Using meditation, gentle movement and art we will explore the significance of these old narratives—how they have shaped our understanding of the world and ourselves—and how we can draw inspiration from them to create art that reflects their enduring lessons.

Let’s uncover the beauty in these age-old tales and explore how they continue to guide, inspire, and enrich our creative expressions today.

Delicious nourishing afternoon tea provided by the beautiful souls at Little Paddocks, Mogo.
