Wrapped yarn art creation at Jurlique Farm

Artist Swapna Namboodiri will share how the repetitive act of wrapping yarn forms the foundation of her latest collection of artworks, transforming simple fibres and everyday materials into richly textured contemporary artworks. Participants will then be guided through the same mindful process to create their own small abstract artwork to take home.

This workshop would be suitable even for complete beginners, and will be designed as a relaxing and rewarding creative experience, inviting participants to slow down, explore colour and texture, and enjoy making in the peaceful surroundings of Jurlique Farm.

Held as part of the Regeneration SALA Exhibition, guests will also have the opportunity to view the exhibition on-site, featuring works by Swapna alongside fellow artists Lorry Wedding-Marchioro and Sakthivel Eakambaranathan.
