Wren Cove explores spontaneous cinematic soundscapes with a sense of adventure and wonder. Their music has been described as a mysterious blend of cello, electronics, and grooves... (Rochester City Newspaper) They blend folk, jazz, electronic, and classical elements into a blissful experience that will captivate and keep you on the edge of your seat. The duo consists of Melissa Davies ( a multidisciplinary artist based Rochester, NY, whose love for music and the arts is deeply intertwined, one often inspiring the other. She was the cellist in the indie rock group Cottage Street, is a in-demand session musician, as well as holds her own in the legendary ensemble Margaret Explosion. In addition to music, Melissa paints, experiments with mixed media and creates large scale art installations) and Andrew Cloninger, ( Who now lives in Canandaigua, NY, He was the primary singer/songwriter in the indie band Furr Project as well as the founding guitarist in the Daniel Bennett Group. Over the years Andrew has shared the stage with such acts as Father John Misty, Unwed Sailor, Joy Electric, and jazz great Charlie Hunter. Andrew has just released his first collection of poems entitled C6-C7 on Atmosphere Press.)
GoldenOak’s music is rooted in the natural landscape- their songs move like a stream, meandering and weaving in an original yet grounding direction. Fronted by siblings Zak and Lena Kendall, GoldenOak’s music calmly excites its listeners while nestled in rich folk-influenced sibling harmony. The Maine-based band has built a steady and growing fan base with this kind of energetic intimacy. This is perfectly represented in the group's latest album, “All the Light in Autumn” due for release on December 5th, 2025.The band is rounded out by upright bassist Mike Knowles and Drummer Jackson Cromwell. GoldenOak has shared the stage with Hiss Golden Messenger, Marco Benevento, Ghost of Paul Revere, Sierra Ferrell, The Ballroom Thieves, and Dustbowl Revival
