Sensory Detail & Setting Workshop

In this workshop, we’ll use our surroundings (Trace Brewing) to craft compelling scenes focused on setting! 

In the first hour we’ll take a tasting tour of Trace’s facility. Afterwards we’ll discuss the role of sensory detail in making a place come alive. We’ll engage the five senses to write a scene with an optional share-out at the end of class. 

Must be 21+ w/ valid ID!

Taylor Grieshober is a fiction writer based in Pittsburgh, PA. She holds an MFA in fiction from Oregon State University and her debut short story collection, Off Days, is available from Low Ghost Press.
