Write and Sip - Hosted by Sarah Armstrong

Event description

Come join us for an informal writing session, facilitated for the first hour this is a gathering to hone your skills and chat through your ideas. Grab a coffee or bring a thermos and take part in a casual, themed writing session, with prompts, silent writing time, and a chance to catch up and mingle with other local writers. 

Open to all members with an interest in writing.


May Host: Sarah Armstrong, author of Big Magic (kids' middle grade) & Salt Rain among others.

Theme: Loosening up your writing.

This Write and Sip will feature exercises to get your words flowing freely and we’ll think about how we can incorporate these exercises in our writing practice.

When: Friday 3 May -  10am – 11am 

Where:  The Venue will be confirmed by email

If the session is held at the Byron Writers Festival office participants are welcome to stay on after the session and make use of the Festival office space until midday

Cost: Pay what you can ($10 suggested fee)
