Write Here Write Now is a writing workshop inspired by streets, sounds and stories of Parramatta. Across an hour, participants will respond to creative provocations, generate fresh material, and collaborate with fellow writers.

Drawing on the streets, stories, and spirit of the city, writers will explore character, structure, and voice in a process that’s equal parts playful and rigorous.

You’ll work drafting scenes, exchanging ideas, and discovering techniques which can unlock your writing.

No passive note-taking here. This is about doing, trying, and sharing.

Whether you’re an experienced writer or just want to try something new, Write Here Write Now offers a chance to bring your ideas, bring your curiosity, bring your courage to an immediacy that can unlock your creativity.
