Join us for the Write Links Workshop & meeting at the Qld Writers Centre, Level 2 State Library, on Saturday 4 July.

This is a free workshop meeting for financial Book Links members.

12:30pm: Editing: From First Page to Final Draft with Liane McDermott and Annaleise Byrd

This workshop is designed as a practical session and will provide:
•       an overview of the different forms of editing (structural, copy/line editing, proofreading)
•       an introduction to grammar, syntax and style and how you can improve your writing
•       an understanding of the essential ingredients for compelling opening chapters
•       tips on writing a killer first page.

With Book Links StoryArts Brisbane (BSAB) manuscript submissions and First Pages Live in mind, you are asked to bring along your manuscript so that you can apply practical tips, receive group feedback and strengthen your work.
