We’re excited to present our second evening event of ‘Writers at the Pub’ 2026 on Thursday 9 July from 6:30pm-8:00pm at The Oxford Hotel, Cnr Victoria and Lyons Rd, Drummoyne. Join Maria P Frino in conversation with two of our very own authors, Anna Ceguerra and Hayley Walsh. These two talented authors will discuss 'how to write humour’ as well as talk about their latest works.
Free event for readers, authors and book lovers of all genres. Come along for what will be a great night of learning and entertainment. Our events are becoming popular, we recommend you register to secure your spot.

Yes, behind in Fortescue St there is a council carpark for up to 2hrs. In the surrounding streets you can find all day or 4hr parking spots.
- Is the venue accessible?
Unfortunately, no the venue is not accessible. The Residence Room is upstairs.
- Who is this event for?
Sydney Authors Inked is a group of authors who help authors on their writing journey and also for readers to meet authors. Emerging authors are especially welcome.
- Will food and drink be served?
No, this is an author talk in a pub. You are welcome to order food and drinks at the bar if you wish.
