A strong carer statement can make a significant difference during an NDIS planning meeting, plan reassessment or review. However, many families find it difficult to know what information to include, how to describe the support they provide, and how to communicate the real impact of their caring role.

Please join Susan from Carevo for a free online workshop designed to help families prepare clear, meaningful and effective NDIS carer statements with confidence.

This is a practical information session focused on helping families understand how to prepare carer statements that reflect their lived experience, caring responsibilities and support needs.

Whether you’re preparing for an upcoming NDIS planning meeting, plan reassessment or review, this workshop will provide practical tips, guidance and real-life examples that you can use straight away.

2 Sessions Available:

To make the sessions as relevant and useful as possible, the workshop will be offered as two separate sessions:

Session 1: Parents and carers of children — 11:00am (1- hour session followed by a 30-minute Q&A)
Session 2: Parents and carers of adults — 7:00 pm (1- hour session followed by a 30-minute Q&A)

Each session will focus on the specific experiences and support needs of families caring for children or adults.

Both sessions will be recorded and made available to participants following the workshop.

Meet Your Presenter: Susan Hart

Susan has been closely involved in developing Carevo’s carer statement resources and supporting families to better communicate their experiences and support needs through the NDIS process.

She will share practical guidance, examples and insights to help families write stronger, more meaningful and effective carer statements.
