Matt Stanton is an award-winning author, illustrator and art director who has published 45 books for children and sold more than a million books in Australia and around the world. His most popular fiction series include Funny Kid and The Odds. He has worked in publishing for more than 20 years. 

In this writing workshop you will explore how to write books that children love and how to apply design thinking to writing. You will learn how to outline your own children’s novel using Matt’s Story Layers method and there will be plenty of opportunities to discuss the publishing process and how to navigate the publishing industry.
