    This year UTS Creative Writing alumni sydney khoo and Nadine J Cohen published their debut novels. 

    sydney’s young adult novel, The Spider and Her Demons, is an urban fantasy spin on growing up as a second-generation immigrant while feeling trapped inside your own body. Nadine’s autofictional novel Everyone and Everything is set in and around Coogee’s McIver’s baths and explores finding solace in surprising places. 

    Join us in celebrating these authors’ achievements as they talk about finding the right genre and facing demons.

    Registration commences at 5 pm for 5.15 pm start. This event is preceded on by Session 1: WRITING AND TRANSFORMATION - please kindly register separately here.

    This event is part of FASStival 2023 which is organised by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
