Writing Practice/Practice Writing

Are you an artist or maker looking to build confidence and vitality in your writing practice?

Would you like to explore a creative and critical approach to writing, learning how to write with or from your material practice rather than simply about it?

In this two-hour workshop, we will examine the value of writing to creative practice through playful, easy-to-do exercises supported by exploratory making, reading, and group discussion. We will co-create a safe, experiential environment for self-expression and experimentation.

You don’t have to be an experienced or gifted writer to attend this workshop—just come with a willingness to exercise your imagination and your fingertips.

Materials, texts, and refreshments will be supplied. Please bring a laptop or similar device.
