In this 4-week course, you'll explore how writers play with language, imagery and scenes to create compelling narratives. Learn how to weave together facts, feelings and reflections to create a vivid story that speaks from the heart.

You'll be guided to develop your own 2,000 word true story with group feedback and individual mentoring from author and Bravewords Live co-host, Adrienne Ferreira.

Understand how an anecdote is different to a story and how to write about your experience to convey something meaningful.

With a focus on structure and voice, you’ll be encouraged to draft and dive deeper into your subject to build a powerful piece that will move others.

Tuesday evenings 6pm-9pm, from 3rd to 24th November, 2026, at the Erina Centre, Erina Fair, 620 Terrigal Drive, Erina.

Fee: $550

Fee includes 12 hours total class time, plus editing on your story, up to 2,000 words.
