Aspiring young writers will be inspired to create their own fantasy stories.
Learn how to write and edit your own fantasy stories with award-winning middle grade author, Melanie La'Brooy.
Melanie is the author of The Wintrish Girl and The Lost History – action-packed fantasy adventure novels tackling serious themes in a fun way. She has visited schools across Australia and Dubai, with students and teachers raving about her workshops.
Time: 10.00am til 11.00am AND 11.00am til midday
Best suited to: kids aged 8 to 14
Tickets: include a copy of The Wintrish Girl.
What to bring: if you have a favourite notebook or pencil for writing, please bring it along. Otherwise, we will provide paper and pencils for you. Please, NO electronic devices.
