Writing With Robots – How AI Will Transform The Way We Write
Event description
Thanks to generative AI, there is a revolution in the writing world. While some writers are wondering whether software like Chat GPT and Gemini will replace them, Generative AI writing tools offer us all an inexpensive digital assistant that can make the work of writing easier. In this talk Alan Hancock will outline where AI-assisted writing is going, and what it means for anyone who uses a keyboard to write. So is AI the writer’s best friend, or nemesis? And what are the ethical concerns for those who work in the creative arts? If AI doesn’t replace writers, it’s clear that those who use AI will replace those who don’t.
