Julian Wagner Memorial Fund Inc and Australians Against Capital Punishment invite you to Wrongful Executions: an ever present danger of capital punishment, featuring a presentation by Steve Bishop, author of The Most Dangerous Detective. Steve's book is the story of how Queensland police officer, Glen Patrick Hallahan, coerced an untrue confession from Raymond Bailey for the Sundown Murders in South Australia, which led to Bailey's wrongful conviction and subsequent execution in Adelaide Gaol on 24 June 1958.

This event will raise funds to enable JWMF to assist Australian lawyers to work on capital punishment cases overseas.

Doors open at 5 pm, presentation starts at 5.30 pm. Refreshments provided.

Attend in person or by Zoom.
