Event description

Workplace sexual harassment occurs in all industries, and at every level.

Circle Green’s Workplace Respect Project provides legal assistance services for people who have experienced workplace sexual harassment and discrimination.

This cost-free, interactive half-day training session is designed for all workers to learn about workplace sexual harassment and the important role of an active bystander in creating a more inclusive, safe workplace for all.

Attendees will learn to:
• Define and identify workplace sexual harassment more clearly;
• Understand the gendered drivers of violence and other causal factors;
• Understand the nature and impact of workplace sexual harassment in Australia using lived experience stories;
• Build practical skills to take safe, appropriate bystander action, challenging and working to prevent workplace sexual harassment; and
• Recognise the significance of the role played by an active bystander, and a responder to disclosures of sexual violence.

A small morning tea will be provided during our 15-minute mid-session break. Please let us know upon registration if you have any dietary requirements.
