Hostinformation World Stage Press is a publishing house in Los Angeles dedicated to the creation and proliferation of African-American literature and beyond. Founded by poets Hiram Sims and Conney Williams, it was created as a response to literary workshops at the historic World Stage Performance Gallery in Leimert Park. The press continues to pay homage to its history and roots by identifying, supporting, and promoting creatives within the community. It is the publishing arm of Community Literature Initiative, which provides quality education to support emerging and underserved writers.
