MEN'S TEMAZCAL

Listen to the heart of the Earth to the rhythm of the drum, purify your body and nourish your spirit with the temazcal ceremony: A Mesoamerican tradition thousands of years old.

The word temazcal comes from Nahuatl (Mexican indigenous language) which means steam house.

The vapor given off by the grandmothers stones through the bath of medicinal plants and sacred water leads us to the deep purification of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.

Also during the ceremony, we will be guided through ancestral wisdom to a process of reconciliation with the sacred masculine and the sacred feminine, and purify our relationships.

This ceremony is a call to be reborn from within the Earth.

WHAT TO BRING

✧ Shorts for men.

✧ Drum or rattle (optional)

✧ Towel and a change of clothes.

✧ Healthy food to share afterwards.

✧ Drinking water.

✧ Bush flowers for the altar.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE CEREMONY?

✧ Remember to hydrate your body at least two hours before entering the temazcal, with water with lemon or electrolytes.

✧ We love music and for us it is an honor that we all share songs and sounds, so we invite you to bring your drum or rattle.

WHAT TIME?

✧ Fire starts at 17:00 hrs.

✧ Temazcal starts at 19:00 hrs. Please make sure to arrive 15 min before to get settled. The ceremony will go for about 2-3 hours.

✧ Feel free to arrive early to help build the fire & learn more about these Sacred traditions. We need everyone!
