Let's be honest. Most of us are great at showing up for others but not always for ourselves.

As part of Men's Health Week 2026, WynActive is hosting a free seminar focused on mental wellbeing, connection and building a support system that actually works in real life.

What's it about?

The session is designed around this years Men's Health Week theme "Partners in Care", encouraging men to move beyond the need to "put on a strong face," and to reach out for support and connection with each other before struggles become crisis.

Because while pushing through stress alone might work in the short term, it often comes at a cost.

What you'll gain.

Led by psychologist Kylie Latu, the current team psychologist for Melbourne United men’s basketball NBL team, this session will give you practical tools

Learn simple ways to check in on yourself and the people around you
Explore how to build your own care team including mates, family and community
Develop practical strategies to manage stress
Learn when and how to reach out for further support
Connect with others through shared experience and discussion

Why it matters.

Looking after your health is not just about physical fitness. In Australia, too many men are still carrying stress on their own, but the biggest shift we’re seeing is men starting to realise they’re not meant to handle it alone. And that shift could change lives, so let's keep that conversation going.
