This event is for recycling only and is NOT a donation or reuse day. All accepted items will be responsibly processed and recycled for their materials.

Accepted items for recycling:

✅ Broken electronics - Items with a cord or has contained batteries*

✅ Scrap metals - BBQs / old pots and pans / metal furniture not suitable for donation + more

✅ Bulky cardboard - Flattened

✅ Soft plastics - Plastic bags, plastic wrappers, bubble wrap, cling wrap, bread bags, Plastic food packets and wrappers

If your item is not listed above, It will not be accepted on the day.

* Some e-waste exclusions apply, including vapes, solar panels, white goods and large, bulky or heavy electronics.

Items NOT accepted:

❌ Broken white goods or large/heavy electronics - Take these to the Refuse Disposal Facility for FREE or use a Hard Waste Collection

❌ Solar Panels or vapes

❌ Items for reuse - Furniture, homewares, bedding and linen

❌ Clothing and Textiles

❌ Toys or baby and children's items like highchairs, car seats, cots etc

❌ Books, magazines

❌ Luggage, bags and backpacks

❌ Household items - Household decorations (Vases, artwork, pictures, figurines, statues)

❌ Chemicals

❌ Mattresses (Use a FREE Hard Waste Collection)

❌ Building and construction waste

Have something in good condition?

Reusable items are not accepted at this event. If items are in good condition consider donating them to friends or family, a local charity or bring it to our next Pop Up Recycling and Donation Day event on February 13 2027
