Come along and try something different. Watch traditional Burmese weaving, step into a language classroom and experience what it's like to learn in a language you don't understand, test your knowledge in a fun cultural quiz, then stay for light refreshments and a chat.

This relaxed community event is all about learning from each other and celebrating the many cultures that make Wyndham such a great place to live.

See traditional Burmese weaving demonstrated on a hand loom and learn about the skills, techniques and stories behind this beautiful craft.

What does it feel like to be a language learner?

Have you ever wondered what it's like to arrive in a new country and sit in a classroom where you don't understand the language? This interactive activity gives you the chance to experience it for yourself.

Cultural drumming

Learn a traditional Dinka song with Junubi Wyndham.

Afterwards, stay for light refreshments, meet new people and enjoy the opportunity to connect with others in your community.
