Wyndham Station Field Day
Event description
Please join The Rangelands Living Skin Project team for a field day at Wyndham Station, Anabranch South (Wentworth).
This field day is an opportunity to come along and see first-hand and discuss together some of the management strategies the Whyte’s are using and trialling to improve cover, biodiversity and productivity across their property.
Key topics of the day will include:
- Hear from Gus & Kelly about their management & goals
- The Rangelands Living Skin project - an opportunity meet the producers and project team and discuss project findings
- Grazing management for biodiversity and carbon
- Virtual fencing - latest research and opportunities with Megan Willis (PhD Student, University of Adelaide)
- Pregnancy scanning and decision making in Rangelands with Sue Hatcher (Director & Principal Scientist, Makin Outcomes)
- Soil carbon - dynamics and drivers in rangeland systems
