    Event description

    Learn the basics of stand up and joke writing or punch up your sets in these interactive fun workshops. You'll develop a 5-minute set in this 4-week course and perform in the student graduation showcase. Tune into your unique funny bone to find your authentic comedic voice. Learn skills to be funnier at social gatherings, storytelling, speaking engagements, writing and more. If you like comedy, want to be funnier or punch up your craft then this is the class for you.

    Limited to 8-10 students max to ensure more personalized attention.

    Classes are on Wednesday Nights at 6p-9pm on May 1, 8, 15, 22 and Student Graduation Showcase on Saturday, June 1 at 7pm 

    All Classes and Showcase are at Explore More Discovery Museum, 150 S Main St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. We will meet on the third floor event space. There is an elevator.
