Because we have all been down the rabbit hole through these isolating and wet times, we have created the ultimate Alice in Wonderland festival experience for you to dance, dress up, play and reconnect.

We’re turning the magnificent Sydney Town Hall into a Wonderland of music, colour, creativity, connection and dance!

Including a rabbit hole experience, a Mad Hatters Tea Party, costume parades, fun games and an epic line-up of artists, entertainers and performers across 2 stages.

Xstatic Sunsets, famous for going all out with their themed dress up and dance parties creating high energy dance floors, are creating their biggest production yet!

Expect next level decor, performance art, theatrical surprises and a line-up of artists who nail their dance music genres to raise the roof of Sydney Town Hall! Prepare those dancing shoes!

Our Mad Hatters Main Stage in Centennial Hall will take you on a musical journey to raise the energy of the dance floor with a creative, curated and fun line-up playing everything from Reggae to House, 80’s, Soul, Funk, and Techno to Bass, all to keep you expressing yourself, moving and dancing.

Our whimsical Mushroom Stage will welcome you in Vestibule Hall showcasing an array of comedy, magic, poetry and musical performances.

Arrive early from 2pm to enjoy the Mad Hatters Tea Party experience with tea and tasty treats included with your ticket and play a host of fun games before the Welcome to Country at 2:30pm.

THE NEED TO KNOW

What your ticket includes

- The festival experience running from 1:30 -11pm across two epic stages

- Tea with sweet and savoury finger food is included from 2-4pm as party of our Mad Hatters Tea Party experience. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

- A free alcohol free beer or cocktail if you arrive before 2:30pm.

- Finger food will be provided through out the night

Dress to express your Wonderland alter ego

We are creating a space for you to unleash your Wonderland alter ego, dress as your favourite Wonderland character or just radically express yourself in whatever form you feel inspired by! There is no judgement in Wonderland.

Wonderland is a celebration of us as individuals and our freedom for creative self expression. While costuming is not compulsory we encourage it as it's the secret sauce to break the ice, let go and play (without the need for alcohol and drugs

Don’t be fooled - sober is definitely not boring the way we party. Expect one of the highest energy dance floors you have ever seen! The music is our drug and the costuming provides the channel for self expression and ice breaking conversations. We vibe high on the natural high - releasing those happy chemicals naturally.

We proudly create a safe and inclusive space for everyone to party no matter your age or background. The costuming naturally blurs age gaps to create a judgement free space to let loose, dance and connect.

Arrive early for the full experience

We curate a journey from the opening to help you drop into a sober environment and connect with others. We recommend arriving early in time for the Welcome to Country at 2:30pm to drop in together and get the most out of the festival experience.

About Xstatic Sunsets - Supporting Better Mental Health

Xstatic Sunsets is a not-for-profit devoted to its purpose of inspiring a more healthy party culture to improve mental health.

We know when someone wakes up without the hangover after the most amazing night of dance, play and connection, it reminds them how much fun they can have without alcohol and drugs. We believe this can help them moderate and find the balance that’s right for them to optimise their mental health.

We just love surprises! Whether it’s curating dazzling performances, activating fun games or creating experiences for you to connect with others and express yourself.

It’s all about the music and the natural high. We could not believe it at first. Just how ‘high’ a sober dance floor can get. Costuming helps everyone let go and fully unleash as they connect to the beat raising the dance floor energy to new heights!

We give you permission to be silly! The dress-ups, the vibe and the energy just say one thing - it’s time to play! There is no judgement or expectation. We embrace you as you are and in any way, you choose to play!
