Come and join us as we celebrate the launch of our new Y Connect program and International Day of People with Disability.
The Y Connect program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services, is a new program by YWCA Australia in Toowoomba working to assist women who live with a disability to build confidence, professional networks and professional development opportunities that support career and employment goals.
Our program launch also ties in with a celebration for International Day of People with Disability – a United Nations-observed day that recognises the achievements and contributions of people with disabilities, while looking to a future where a person is not characterised by their disabilities, but by their abilities.
Join us for a night of socialising, networking and celebrations, with speeches, performances and PRIZES from different members of the community as we launch this fantastic new program in the Toowoomba region.
