Yalda Night: Persian winter solstice celebration

Yalda night is the Persian celebration of the winter solstice on the longest night of the year. Obviously, this corresponds to the shortest night of the year down here in Tasmania but that won't stop Hobart's Persian community from putting on a wonderful night of music, dance, food and drink in celebration of this time-honoured tradition.
