What is The Yarn Club?
It’s a weekly craft night with heart. Come join us to stitch Red Cross Trauma Teddies — handmade bears gifted to children experiencing illness, injury or trauma across the country.
These cuddly companions are made by Australian volunteers and delivered to hospitals, ambulance services, and emergency responders across Australia to bring comfort when it’s needed most.
What to Expect:
🧶 Learn to crochet or knit
👯♀️ Connect with friendly locals and like-minded makers
🍸 Sip, stitch & unwind – the bar is open for food and drinks
📦 Take home a starter kit if you’d like to keep stitching
💬 Hear stories from the Red Cross team about the difference you’re making
No experience? No worries!
We’ll provide patterns, support, and beginner-friendly instructions. You just bring your enthusiasm.
Come for the craft, stay for the community.
