Yarra Junction Open Day | Sun 17 Nov 2024

Join us for our YJ Open Day on Sunday 17 November. 

Yarra Junction Campus, affectionately known as ‘YJ’, is located a leisurely drive less than an hour from Melbourne’s CBD and is home to our unique Education Outdoors program. It provides an immersive learning environment where students are challenged to consider the effects of their actions on themselves, their peers and the world around them.  

This is a great day for our School community to explore, learn and immerse in the beautiful natural environment – or relive fond memories if you’re one of the thousands of former students who have attended YJ since it opened in 1947. 

There will be activities for the whole family and plenty of food and drink to enjoy:  

• Challenge yourself on our High Ropes Course.
• Learn about sustainable food production practices in our orchard and veggie garden. 
• Experience local culture with Indigenous educator Ian Hunter.  
• Listen to live music from student musicians. 
• Enjoy food and drink from food carts and a P&F sausage sizzle.
