Revisiting a classic ride that'll end in lunch at A1 Fairfield!

The route and the bikes:

This is a 30km ride that can be tailored to you: You can choose to ride beginner singletrack lines or stay along the main paved sections (and we'll regroup along the way).
- The main paved sections are rideable on just about any bike (e.g. a road bike with skinny tyres is fine)
- The singletrack lines are best ridden on a cyclocross, gravel or mtb. There are no steep downhill bits - it's mostly flat or a gentle descent.
We'll end at A1 Fairfield to have lunch together (optional, but we'd love you to join!).
- A1 is right by the Fairfield Station, or a 5min ride back to Alphington Station if you parked your car there.

The logistics:

Meeting at 9:45am for a 10:00am roll out at Alphington Station platform 2 carpark.
We aim to be at A1 by 12:30pm, but due to the nature of group rides, please plan to be flexible.
This is a social, no-drop ride as always. That means we ride as a group and no one gets left behind.

Other things:

This ride is weather dependent. If weather is bad, we will make a call by the preceding Friday to reschedule.
Bring snacks to share and your own water.
