SYDNEY FPA Keynote Series - NOV 2025 - Are You Ready to Turn Your Government Engagement into Real Advocacy Power?
Event description
Are you ready to turn your government engagement into real advocacy power?
Don’t miss this advanced session with political strategist Neil Pharaoh – Co-Founder & Director of Tanck. Building on our March Government Engagement 101 workshop, this next-level session takes you deeper into the strategy, tactics, and frameworks needed to run effective campaigns and advocacy efforts that cut through with decision-makers. You’ll gain value even if you didn’t attend the first session, as this session stands alone and will equip you with practical tools to cut through with decision-makers.
In today’s rapidly shifting political environment, success means more than knowing who to call – it’s about how to design and deliver campaigns that align with government priorities, shape policy conversations, and build sustained influence. Neil will break down the campaign mindset into clear, practical steps, helping you move from ad-hoc engagement to structured, impactful advocacy.
Drawing on his extensive experience leading social sector organisations through complex political landscapes, Neil will unpack what makes a campaign succeed – from leveraging assets and networks, to framing problems and solutions, to knowing when and how to influence elections and policy. You’ll leave with tools and strategies to run your own government relations campaign with confidence and purpose.
