Description

The Year 11 NCC Formal will be held on Wednesday, 25 November in the Ballroom at the Amora Hotel, 233 Victoria Square, Adelaide. Students are asked to arrive from 6pm for a group photo, then move into the ballroom for a 6.30pm start. The evening will finish at 9.30pm, with supervision provided until 10pm.

The event will be a cocktail-style function for current Year 11 Nazareth Catholic College students. To keep the evening focused on celebrating our Year 11 cohort, students will not be able to bring partners from outside this group.

College staff will supervise students from 6pm until 10pm. Students are asked to arrive before 6pm so they can be included in the group photo. At 10pm, responsibility for supervision will return to parents and caregivers. Please also note that this is a student-only event, so parents and caregivers will not be able to accompany students inside.

We would also like to remind students and families that Nazareth Catholic College does not support or condone “after parties”. We appreciate your support in encouraging students to make safe and responsible choices following the Formal.

Full event expectations and guidelines are available in the terms and conditions on Humanitix. When purchasing tickets, all students will be asked to read and accept the College Expectations and Guidelines. Thank you for taking the time to review these together.

Bookings will open at 10am on Monday 26 October, and close 5pm on Thursday 19 November.

Students can collect their printed-copy Formal Tickets at the end of the Year 11 into 12 Transition Day 2, on Tuesday 24 November. Attendance at the Year 12 Transition Days is required for ticket collection. Please note, the ticket must be presented at the venue for entry to the event.

Refund policy

NAZARETH - HUMANITIX EVENT REFUND PROCEDURE We understand that plans change, and sometimes you may need to cancel your attendance at our community events. To ensure fairness and clarity for all attendees, we have established the following refund procedure for tickets obtained / purchased via Humanitix: 1. If the event is cancelled for any reason, we will provide a full refund of the ticket price. For cancelled events, you do not need to apply for a refund as we will automatically attempt to process a refund back via the original payment method used to purchase the ticket. Refunds will be processed no later than 30 days of the event cancellation. 2. If the event is rescheduled, tickets will automatically carry over to the new date. However, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you must apply for a refund 72 hours prior to the event. If you do not request a refund by that date, you will have agreed to the reschedule and will not be entitled to claim a refund. 3. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges unless otherwise notified at time of purchase). 4. If you are unable to attend the event due to any of the reasons below, you may be eligible for a refund (up to the full purchase amount, including any fees or charges unless otherwise notified at the time of purchase). • Pre-existing Medical Condition / Pregnancy Complication • Jury service • Court summons • Armed Forces & Emergency Services Recall We may consider other emergency circumstances at our discretion. All refund requests made due to these reasons must be submitted in writing at least 12 hours before the event. 5. Nazareth does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances or due to external factors such as, for example, adverse weather. We do not refund if you made your booking by mistake, or it is no longer wanted or needed. 6. If you are unable to attend the event for any reason other than those listed above, we are unable to provide a refund. However, you may be able to transfer your ticket to another individual, with prior approval from the event organiser. Transfer of tickets must be completed at least 12 hours before the event. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF REFUND • Any reason for refund must not have been reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking. • You must make all arrangements to arrive in time to attend the event. • Proof of purchase may be required for any refund or exchange. • When a request is approved, we will automatically attempt to process a refund back via the original payment method used to purchase the ticket. Otherwise, you may be asked to provide your bank account details so that we can make the refund payment via EFT. • The maximum refund value per person will not exceed the total value of their share of the booking. • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the event cancellation, or within 30 days of the written refund request. By purchasing a Humanitix ticket to Nazareth events, you agree to these refund procedures. Thank you for your understanding and support, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
